creating partitions

i have the DMS format utility but i dont have a DMS modchip can i still use it.
i have burned it to cd but it just goes to a patched hdloader.
how do i put partitions on my hdd.


i want to make a partition on my ps2 which i can use the new mp3station by Hermes.

doesn't Hermes mp3station auto format a "+mp3" partition on the first statup ?

is you HD 28bit or 48bit ? (under or over 137Gb ?)

dms hdd format will work without the chip...^^

why don't you copy the elf to you memory card ? (via launchelf for exemple...)

simply choose the version which fits you HDD size, lauch the program and create a "+MP3" partition with it (it HAS to be the right name...)

it says that it cant sreate partitions but it can format partitions.
and the dms format tool i have just goes to a hdloader screen.
can you tell me where i can get a working version.
