    Hi,

so today I got my Network Adapter and I want to start right away, but as usual questions come up on the way.

    So my questions are:

    1) Is it possible to use OPL, HDL and ToxicOS with the same formatted drive?

    2) In WinHIIP 1.7.6 under options you can choose between 24 Bit, 48 Bit and ToxicOS, whats the best option for my problem?

    3) What's that "Enable Patched HDL's Extended Compatibility Modes" for? No tutorial covers that one.

Oh btw, where can I get a clean decompressed HDL v0.8C ELF to use with HDL Patcher ? Or how can I decompress the ELF file?
    I'm using a PAL SCPH-5000x (v9 / 10 / 11), are these options enough for my task?:

    Code:
/N - Stops HDLoader from seeking disc while loading to prevent V9 from
freezing during the splash screen. USE THIS IF YOU'RE BOOTING FROM A
           MEMORYCARD USING A MODCHIP.

/C - Updates HDLoader with new compatibility options to set date/timefixes
(fix 1 is on by default, use fixes 2+3 together to remove the fixes),
dual layer (disable = uses original mode 2), network adapter support
(games should recognize the NA) & UnAligned Buffer fix (Gradius V,
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories), new fileopts fix (Shadow of
the Colossus, God of War II), Soul Calibur 2 / Suikoden V fix within
HDLoader. Selected options (like the original modes) are per-game saved.

/B - Makes the HDLoader game list taller so more titles fit on screen.

/L - Patches HDLoader to support 48bit LBA access to allow full use of >128GB
           HDDs.

/A - Disables the auto shutdown from HDLoader so the HDD doesn't stop when
left unused for extended perioids of time.
    Or can you prefer more?

    I don't understand the /M# option

Thanks and I hope that those aren't to much questions

    1) Is it possible to use OPL, HDL and ToxicOS with the same formatted drive?
Yes, i do with all my HDDs.
    2) In WinHIIP 1.7.6 under options you can choose between 24 Bit, 48 Bit and ToxicOS, whats the best option for my problem?
Not knowing the problem, its hard to be specific. For HDDs smaller than 128GB, use 28bit- for HDDs over 128GB, use 48bit. I wouldnt bother with using the ToxicOS option.

    3) What's that "Enable Patched HDL's Extended Compatibility Modes" for? No tutorial covers that one.
It means to add the options of using the patch Modes to the Compatibility list when you press SELECT button from the Games List. Read the Patcher option for /C

Oh btw, where can I get a clean decompressed HDL v0.8C ELF to use with HDL Patcher ? Or how can I decompress the ELF file?
    HERE or HERE

Here is a Guide you can use:
    http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=HD..._Tutorial.html
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded

    Hi,

so everything worked out fine....now my question is. Is it normal that when I'm in-game via HDL, that the PS2's reset button is not performing a reset?
When I press is it the PS2 just powers down.
Same with uLE and ToxicOS oO ?

    Thanks,
    iCEQB

    Oh OK
But why is that? How come those apps kill the reset function?

Oh btw, this Clean HD Loader ELF, isn't that v0.8b ?

    Thanks,
    iCEQB

    1. probably because the coders didn't include the ability in the software i.e. hdl

    2. no clean hdl is not hdl v0.8b

Coders have to include that when you press the reset button on the console to reset the system and not power down?
Isn't that system internal stuff? Like the reset button on a PC ?

You sure you are not mistaking IGR with the Reset button on the console?
