    I have a 160GB IDE HDD in a fat PS2.
Using Winhiip works fine but requires to take the HDD out of the PS2.

HDL Dump does not work because HDD size > 120 GB.
FAPlink started ok but seems to have stopped half way through.

Is there a PS2 elf application that can copy an iso game image
from a USB hard disk connected to the PS2 ???

Or otherwise an app like hdl_dump or faplink that uses the network
but works properly for large HDDs.

The PC - PS2 networking works fine.
I can browse my PC HDD from the PS2 and can transfer elfs to the PS2.

I just tried hdl_dumb-0.8.3 on the PC (after executing hdld_svr.elf on PS2).
I get an error titled "Unexpected problem" and saying
"Partition data across 128GB mark found."

You use hdldumpguiv14.exe from what I read in your reply.
So I will try that next and see if it works - thanks a lot.

    Problem solved !!!

I had a number of games on the HDD.
I also had a partition called +DATA (for movies, mp3 etc).
    Executed MISC:/hddmanager on PS2 and +DATA was 101% free.
Something wrong with it so deleted the partition.

    Now hdl_dumb works fine.

Good to hear, I find the best way to use it is to rip a few games at a time, set the gui to transfer the isos, set it to shutdown the PS2 and the PC when its finished and go to bed!
