    my question is, how can i copy from one ps2 with hd to another ps2 with hd?

    tested by using pc:
    ps2_1: hdld_svr -> ip x.10
    ps2_2: hdld_svr -> ip y.11
    pc runs gui but does not work.

    copy to pc hd works fine but is very slow.

    is there a homebrew to copy direct from ps2 to ps2 over network
    ps2_1: server
    ps2_2: host

    thanx for answer

    no, not currently. your best bet would be to connect both drives to your PC and copy from one drive to the other. winhiip & ps2hdhandiness (i think) can do this.

    In Linux/Unix I assume you dd one HD to another,
    or in Windows perhaps Ghost would be the right thing to do?

    I got this bootmanager prg off a mag once. The bootmanger was ok, but with it came the best partition-toolkit ive EVER tried. It does everything like copy, format and partition. It will most definately copy your ps2hd to another (copy unknown partition ).

    Best of all the bootmanager/tookit fits on a single 3,5 disc and can be run straight of the disc. This came real handy the last time one of my hd went "F*** u girl im all bad!", and i had to save the other partitions.

    I have a freeware OSSelector v5, seems like they turned commercial now over at : http://www.acronis.com

    But u can probably get a freeware one offa the net

    Remember old fdisk? No more sittin n waitin 2 hours to format a 256mb hd. it more like 200GB in 10 min
