    I havn't had a chance to play around with the HDD yet, but
    could you possibly connect the HDD with the PC as a slave and drag files on that way, my laser has stopped reading dvd's so if this is possible it would greatly help me. Though, i think that the new hdd loader probably isn't just an image, like an iso, if it is, yey!

    yes you can, but the ps2 uses a different file system. (not fat*, ext* etc)

    Do you know what the file system is called? is it a ps2-only file system?

    Yeah it proprietary...

    Im kinda suprised someone hasnt made a windows based program yet to atleast format the hdd fpr the ps2
