I just got my HDLoader (from Divineo) today, and I formatted a 60GB Maxtor HD using HDLoader then plugged it into my computer and put some games that were backed up there onto the HD using WinHIIP. However when I plugged the HD back into the PS2 and booted HDLoader it told me that the HD was unformatted. I have tried putting games directly on there through HDloader and they install and run fine. I tried using HDL_DUMP and had the same problem. When I plugged the drive into my friend's computer and tried it, it worked fine, using WinHIIP. I've tried switching it between different IDE cables (one connected to my motherboard and one connected to a PCI IDE card) and the same result every time. Does anyone have any clue what could possibly be causing this?

I have similar problems because of some weird HDD incompatibility (an old 6,4GB HDD). Doesn't worked as master, but runs fine as cable select. Try both options.
