you can't load disc from dvd drive when you already loaded something from hd because codebreaker thinks you haven't changed the disc it's the same for double disc games.

I've tried various ways of using CodeBreaker with HDL, and the only one that works for me is to launch CB v7 (just the ELF file) from memory card, select a game and some codes, and then let it launch HDL from a CD/DVD disc, as if that disc held the selected game. Then I can select the game in HDL, which will then launch it with the CB codes active.

The other CodeBreaker versions I've tried don't work that way, and none that I've tried work at all when the CodeBreaker disc is installed by HDL.

For myself this means that I stick with CB v7, even though this means I have to edit or translate codes intended for other versions (or even other devices), since it's hard to find CB v7 codes for newer games.

    Best regards: dlanor

here is what works for me:
burn the MC HDL to cd or dvd then start code breaker
select the cheats then put in the burn HDL
select the game and the cheats work

this only works for a MC HDL burn, if you use the retail disc the cheats will not work

I launch Code Breaker v9.0 from HD via LaunchELF then it loads the codes from the HD since CB9 natively supports the HD and I have Auto Eject Tray turned to OFF and have the HD Loader disc already in the tray.

I then select codes for a game then choose Start Game. Not all of the codes work since some (M) Enable codes interfere with the memory region HD Loader is stored at when it "loads".
