Cheat Devices working?

Hey, are cheat devices working when they're backed up to the HD? I tried my Codebreaker and it froze at the loading screen.

armax work but you need to have the ethernet cable not connected or it freeze and also if you load it from mc you can't pull out the mc or somethimes it freeze.
xploder v5 don't work, xploder v4 don't work, codebreaker don't work (tried 7)

anyway as is you can't do anything because they can load only from hd and not from cd (and load from hd in their partition) so you can't use codes and you load the cheat cd trying to load a game
