    Hello.

I have been trying all day to make the MC exploit and the HDLD Server to work but no luck. When my PS2 comes to the point of loading the cd with the burned ELF file, it just says "PLAYSTATION SCEE" without showing the "P" logo and it freezes there. I am using a messiah modchip to boot the cds. I have burned over 15 cdrs so far but nada Can someone please help me?

I guess as you are trying to run HDLD Server, that you have a hdd. In which case, why burn hdld server to cd, when you can run it from hdd?

Didn't go that way over here. Care to up a .nfo on prep for that?

160 gig, bought HD Advance, no mod chip, no swap disc.
One day the truth will be told, until then I'll just live with the lie.

well you just make an iso out of hdld_svr.elf and system.cnf pointed to hdld_svr.elf . then you turn off pc plug in hdd, transfer, turn off and voila.

go to http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29833 as this explains how to set it up. I followed an early revision of it when Killerspaz was working on it, and I got HDL_SVR running. His PDF is really thorough, covers just about everything you'll need to know.

just copy the ELF to a partition on your hdd - NOT a HDL partition, a normal partition like __boot for example

but that would require something like keylauncher to get it running plus it takes a bit of configuring with ftp. just cutting to the chase and telling them the easiest method.
