cant install backups w hdloader –

The hdloader prog is telling me thats its not a ps2 disc when i try to install it, but i backed it up with image burn, burned it with image burn on dvd -r at 4x, patched it with ESR disc patcher GUI v0.24a prior to burning.
The game was picked up in esr as dvdv no prob and ran no prob after colors, took about 15 secs to start but ok. So now when i go to the hdloader and try to install it says its not a ps2 disc....I have been dropping all my originals on hd all day , no probs, as soon as i tried a backup of my acdc rockback, it wont install.
I beieve I have the news hdloader, i did see on the one compatability list that 08b was the proper loader, how do i deal with this, how do i change loader versions, can i just have all the different hdloader versions available.
Like i said the backup plays fine through esr, just isnt recongnized in hdloader, if i have 08c which i dont know how to tell, i just got it in the mail today, how do i install/use a different loader, and is this going to make it recognizable for an install to hdd

Where do i get the last of that prog, how do i use it, and what if i have already patched the iso i have on my pc hd where i have the games all backed up, my originals are up north in my cabin so all i have are my iso with me in my pc, patch them before i burn them, and this one is already patched.

check the sksapps section > Tutorial Section .
just try to patch it with ESR Patcher again and i think it will tell its already patched do you want to unpatch or something like that i have never used esr before so go a head and try
but make sure you got the original one .

if i had the original with me i would just pop it in hdloader and install it directly into my hdd inside the ps2 like i have been with all my originals, but today i am at home not at my cabin where the originals are, and i have all my originals backed up to my hdd on my pc.
I have been patching and burning them all day to get them off my puter for the space.
I just would like to know how to..... put my backup ps2 game in the ps2 and install it into my hdd. I plays, just wont install.
Originals install, cuz i have a few old ones here ive been doing, but i have about 50 on my puter i want to put in hdd without using win hiip, my drive in ps2 is ide seagate 300gb, my puter is only sata and i dont have an enclosure to put it in to hook it to usb soooooooo....... really i dont ever want to remove the hdd from the ps2, so can i do it ?

i mean is it the backup disc that is causing the install prob or the game itself, cuz then i could just wait and use the original , that way i dont have to patch or anything, just stick in ps2, run hdloader , and click install.

Did u read post #5....."my computer is only sata and i don't have an enclosure to put it in to hook it to usb soooooooo....... really i don't ever want to remove the hdd from the ps2, so can i do it ? "
What exactly am i missing here?
Win hiip requires me to hook it to my pc, not an option, see above.
Plus from reading the forum ,i dont trust it, it's wiping peoples hds, if i can do it another way i would really appreciate the info.

Amp has helped many people, and the advice he gives, I've never heard one complaint about people's hard drives getting wiped. what you need to do is get a USB HDD enclosure and hook it up that way. that will solve most of you problem of connecting it.

I guess i misunderstood but i read that their harddrives and all there games were wiped as soon as they hooked it to there pc by making them reformat saying that the files are corrupt. I saw this on the link to win hiip first page. It sounds like they were not given the choice and it wiped everything, but if that is not the case then i am interested. I suppose the answer to my question about this being the ONLY way to install backup games to the hdd has now been answered. I originally wasnt interested in this process and was hoping there were others since originals install easy as heck, why wouldnt everyone just get the original they are SUPPOSED to own anyway and just install it through hdloader. This is probably going to be the way i do it because i have all my originals, i was just looking for somthing to do until then with the iso backups of all those games on my pc.
