Can't connect PS2 Hard Drive to PC
Can't connect PS2 Hard Drive to PC –

Hi, I am trying to connect my PS2 linux hard drive (40GB) to my PC in order to install an image i created (I am following this guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/122897).
However, when I try to connect my Sony PS2 hard drive to my PC's SLAVE connection, I turn on my PC and nothing happens - I just get 'Operating System Not Found'. When I disconnect the Sony hard drive and reboot, everything is back to normal and I can use Windows XP again.
What am i doing wrong? How do i connect the official PS2 hard drive that i have to my PC?

You still need your main PC hard drive in order for the operating system to operate (this hdd's jumper must be set to master). Then you connect the slave part of the ide connection to the ps2 hard drive (you also need to set the jumper to "slave" or "cable select" on the ps2 hdd as well, whatever will work for you).
