Can Faplink transfer games larger than 2G?
Can Faplink transfer games larger than 2G? –
I'm using Faplink 0.87.1, it transfers all the iso images smaller than 2G (or around there) perfectly but always hang at around 2G while transfer the large images (ex. Soul Calibur 2 and Xenosaga...).
There is no problem to transfer the same large images with LordBoGaMi's HDLD GUI and it's even faster. But LordBoGaMi's HDLD GUI will not transfer the images inwhich the contents have been modified and always pop up "Not an identified PS2 cd/dvd" error message (I modified the files of Soul Calibur 2 according to a tutorial and try to play it with hdloader).
Faplink could transfer the above modified image but always hang at around 2G. Thanks for your any help. I just don't want to connect the hdd to pc's ide or burning more dvd...
yes its a known bug with faplink.
I have the same problem, this really sucks. There is another tool called ExecFTP, maybe that works better, dunno...
If you use the commandline hdl_dump, it should work. The GUI relies on hdl_dump's cdvd_info command, which does not work with selfmade ISOs (at least for me).
Use it like that:
hdl_dump inject_dvd <PS2 IP> "Game Name in Quotes" <Path to ISO> <ELF to boot>
If you have a CD image, it's inject_cd instead of inject_dvd. In your case the executable to boot is probably CD7BET52.ELF
hdl_dump inject_dvd 192.168.0.10 "Devil May Cry" E:\devil.iso SLUS_202.45
