Let me start off by telling you this isnt a question just my findings. I dont know if people already know this but ive surfed the forum for quite some time and never found anyone post this.

Ive been trying to use to swap method through hdloader to try to load copies. Everyone says use a high toc disk like a GTA or so forth for the swap. This method works for swapping import or game copies but never worked when trying to load smaller cd's like homebrews and emu's (I dont know about you but it NEVER worked for me). Anyways ive been doing this...

    1) Load HDLoader and wait till youre in the main menu.
    2) Click install and your hdloader disk will stop spinning. Dont click OK or CANCEL but swap (using fliptop or slidecard, the ps2 must think its not open) a good bootable cd-r made through cdgenps2.
    3) Click OK and watch it install.

    Summary:
Do not use a high TOC disk like everyone says but just leave the hdloader disk in there. Ive been able to copy SNES Station and other stuff easily with the swap without having to use winhiip to copy the image over. This never worked for me with high toc disk but since leaving the hdloader disk in there and swapping like that its always worked. So there you have it, another way to load stuff up without winhiip (if youre afraid of it). Sorry if someones already figured this out. Ive only been able to find people saying copy an image over with winhiip.

valiant effort bendit but im afraid youre misunderstanding something. the "smaller cd" like youve said are cdr. your hdloader disc is a CD. thats the reason why it works.

ok for example: you have a backup of a DVD game. you wouldnt use hdloader disc to get a TOC for it because hdloader is a CD. you would need a DVD TOC in order to install a DVD game. likewise, a homebrew or emu CD is exactly that, a CD. you wouldnt use a DVD TOC to install a CD, you would need a CD TOC which in this case you used hdloader.
