    Is it possible to install the blackrhino distro without the need for ps2 linux? or can you do it with the RTE disk only?
    pls help

    There is a specific RTE disk you'll need to find. Look for CERF4.

    i got that , is there any step by step that dont miss anything out, coz i just formatted my hdd and lost all games on there

    If you know what Linux is and what fdisk is (ps2fdisk to be exact) you should not have such problems. Basically, you boot from the CD, select "boot", then "install Black Rhino" and you'll get a Linux running from the CD. Then run ps2fdisk, create two partitions - one for Linux itself and another for the swap file, format those, extract 20MB tgz file located in the root of the CD and then read about Black Rhino configuration on their site. And the next time you boot select "boot"->"run Black Rhino". If everything is fine check if you have Internet and then run dselect.
