bigger then 120gig HD allowed without mc and little elfs

i dont really care about time stamp most all games work anywayz. all i ever wanted to do was use my big HD cuz i have been outta space for a while now.

is this true , i can just patch the hdloader dvd verison`s elf that i already have. with the patcher ? if so are you refering to hdlpatch_0.4.zip or hdl_aio_1.6.rar?

using isobuster i see the following:

1 - THE TIME STAMP FIX fixes the game saves issue. you might as well patch that if youre going to patch with the other options. 2- use aio 1.6. i believe the slus file is the hdloader elf but i dont think its compatible with the patcher due to the size of it. i also have a version similar and its not compatible. so you migt want to go online and look for it. it should say hdloader or hd advanced elf instead of sleus. 3- (hope you have nero) use the tutorial that i attatched . credit goes to the author i forgot where i found it.

yeah i got ultra 6 , and thanx alot for the tut , it is so easy i never knew m8

my SLUS_203.44 file is 8mb large m8. so all i need to do is find a dvd version of hdloader , and it inside it should say similar to above except

PS2LOAD.ELF stays the same
and SLUS_203.44 is changed tp hdloader.elf
or what? how can this be cuz dont it gotta say slus or sumthing like that in order to boot up?

i thought thier was only one dvdversion of HDL released

cdcatt if you dont mind the silly splash screen and you dont need the time stamp fix just use what you have. open it with isobuser- create a new folder on your desktop- drag the pieces of the program you opened with isobuster into the folder you created- follow the tutorial - put the pieces that you placed in the folder into nero the same as they were shown in isobuster. i hope this helps. david.

but sadly from alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2 i only managed to snag
HD Loader .part01.rar,02,03,04,05,11 and 5 par2 files

, cuz incomplete files done come through using roadrunner.

i suppose i am missing 3 files from the actuall release :sad:

but i wish i could have got the elf to work then i would have gave my chipped ps2 to some poor kid with no games and hooked him up with all oever stock of ps2 cd`s since i dont need the 2nd copy`s anymore, cuz could load from HDD :woot:

i never could get any elf`s to boot a ps1 , i alwayz got black screen for a month so i gave up and have had a vendetta ever since till i seen this , patched cd version , i got stoked again

i think the lazer is fine just played to many dvdripz and wore out althoug it waz only a few years old i am sure that is why , besides i tried to load the ps1 on a few different ps2`z and same thing.

but hey m8 , i managed to complete the download from newserver of the patched cd version, so i can use my big HD now, but i wanted to ask you a question, cuz i just put these 3 files in like the tut you gave me said to do.

cuz i just burned these file 3 only on dvd-r...lol and got a black screen on ps2 boot.

so how would be the correct way to do it. can you show me in a post like this.
which files should be replace with the 3 listed above.

PS2LOAD.ELF with HDLOADER.ELF and just rename is PS2LOAD.ELF , or no i not have to remane it.

DUMMY.BIN and SYSTEM with the new ones.

only reason i am asking you is i am using memorex dvd-r and wanna save as many as i can
