Best method for homebrew and MC saves?
Best method for homebrew and MC saves? –
I've been doing a bunch of reading tonight and really ended up with more questions then answers. So I'm going to throw this out and see if anyone can help. I've got a DMS3 with MC hdloader and I'd like to put my MC saves on the HDD as well as Pgen roms and any other homebrew that will (eventually) utilize the HDD (snes, mame, etc). The way I understand it snes (hdd) is a no go at the moment. I tried a self booting MaMe disc from HDloader tonight and that's a no go as well. I have the official Sony HDD 1.10 utilities, DMS3 HDD explorer and HDLoader at my disposal. I'd like to know which one would be most feature rich for what I'd like to do. From what I understand the official Sorny utils will allow me to view the HDD in the browser but that's about it. DMS3 HDD explorer just seems to put the Pgen app on the HDD and I would like to continue using it from the MC with only the roms on the HDD. PS2menu-k it seems will put the MC saves on the HDD but I'd like to have something that will doing all of these things rather then just one or two. From what I'm understanding right now using multiple apps for the harddrive can end up corrupting one aspect or the other. So what's the best all round app (or method) to do MC saves,homebrew,PS2 games?
