Backup Images with HDLoader

I got my copy of HDLoader today in the mail and i proceed to format my drive with it. Then i took the drive and hooked it up to my computer and used winhiip to extract some game images to it. HDLoader sees that these games are installed, but when i go to play them it just gives me a black screen. What's the deal?

Well I got one of my games working, that being dragon quest viii. I heard about setting different game modes for different games, how do i know which modes to use for which game?

go to list.********** there's a whole list of all modes needed to play any game that is playable on the HDD...

www.ps2 hd.com without the space in the middle cause then u get it censored for some reason here

Its probably censored for a reason... I think this site and that site had a little argument awhile back.

I've been using HDLoader for a while and I've found that about 95% of the time, mode 3 will get most games running. Keep in mind that a small percentage of games are incompatible with HDLoader. Just google "hdloader compatibility list" & check.
