Backing up HD Loader

Has anyone sucessfully made a backup copy of hd loader that will work in your ps2? I checked the posts but didn't find anything.

If I remember right, it was encrypted up the wazoo. It made close to a bazillion (give or take) checks to see if it was a real disc. You can download one though. Basically, it's more unattainable then me losing my virginity.

Let's see if it'll work - do you mean a HD Loader ISO that was then burned onto CD-R?

Yeah I am just wanting to duplicate an original disc but I am a newb when it comes to encripted files. If there is a download site I would consider that too.

if you want to make a legit backup of the original hdl then you have every right to DL one of the cracked versions available.

Actually, it was discovered quite some time ago that if you own an original copy of Crazy Taxi and insert that into the PS2 (via the eject button) at the HDLoader splash, it will boot and play games properly.

yeah, kind of akin to dreamcast games. You own it, but you can't back it up, so you might as well download it. Plus, the hdloader MC exploit is all over the place.
