Hoping GF can help or someone more familiar with WinHIIP 1.7.3
History:
1) Got 160 GB HDD and retail disc of HDLoader
2) Formatted HDD with the disc
3) Added my first 5-7 games using HDL disc and PS2
4) Found out about the MC Exploit and started using HDL from MC
5) Found out about PS2Menu-K and created a partition on my HDD
6) Moved HDL on HD and used LaunchELF 3.11 to point to it
7) Added the next 10 games or so using HDLD_GUI by LodBoGaMi ver1.1
8) After hitting the 137 GB mark, I patched my HDL with 48-bit patch
9) Installed remainder of the games using WinHIIP 1.6.3 until only 20GB left on HD (about 35 games)
Now I have two 300 GB HDD. I use one for my Windows XP C Drive. And I am planning on using the other as my new PS2 HDD. I initially put my 160 as a slave on the PC, used 1.7.3 to move all my ISOs to the C Drive. Took out the 160, attached the 300, formatted the 300 using 1.7.3, then moved all my ISOs only to find out later that my HDL was missing, because it's on a partition, not an image.
Took the 300 back to the PC. Erased and reformatted it using 1.7.3, then went back to these forums for advice on how to move forward.
I've been reading about the "Copy Drive" button and it seems like my way out, but I just want to make sure that it would work for drives of different sizes. I can afford to lose my ISOs because I have a back up of those, but my HDL partition was a pain to setup in the beginning, and I'd rather not go through that process again. Can I use the copy drive or would you suggest another way to copy my 160 to the 300?
Thank you and thanks to all that finished reading this long ass post

I presume you can get both the 160Gb & 300Gb drives in your PC at the same time! I can confirm it is no problem copying drives of different sizes as long as you are not trying to copy from a drive with more used space than the total size of the destination drive.
First you need to select your 160Gb PS2 drive, then when the image list has been displayed you need to select the Copy button. From the popup menu select Full Drive Copy and then finally select your new PS2 300Gb drive from the next popup menu.
Make sure you read the next couple of messages properly as if you don't you could corrupt your PC drive.

Is the copy drive will also copy the partition that is on the HD ???

In V1.7.3 the Copy Drive function has 2 options.
One will just copy selected images across in which case the destination drive has to already be formatted for HDL.
The other is Full Drive which will copy all the partitions across including non-image ones. The destination drive can be a different size but must be large enough to accept all the data from the source.
