ATAD.IRX Patcher

sorry, i know this doesnt belong here but i posted it here because the hdd forum is closed

this *should* patch the atad.irx iop module to recognize non-$ony hdd's. my only ps2 is un-modded and in all likelyhood if i tried to save to hdd from a game running from hdloader it would probably cause problems so im hoping someone here could try it out and post results (i'm fairly confident it should work).

im not asking for a link...where do u get this .irx from? what disk? is it a warez or is it free?

ATAD.IRX can be found on most online game disc's that can use the ps2 hdd to save downloadable content.

Excample: Socom II: US NAVY SEALS uses's ATAD.IRX to verify that you are using an official sony hdd before saving downloadable content. Dark Killers patch edits ATAD.IRX to beable to use any non sony hdd for saving downloadable content.

is there a way to patch this on ffxi so you can play ffxi? i have the orginal cd's and cd key just not the harddrive

I have a question about that, too. Is there a way to patch a file or similar so that you can save your Savegames onto the HDD like the official $ony one?

moethacriminal asked about the hdd disk so i looked it up and saw that ps2 browser comes with it. So i was seeing where i could get it.
