APPLIST.DAT from hdd0:/_BOOT
yo DMS users, could you guys copy the APPLIST.DAT from hdd0:/_BOOT using PS2MNU-K 0.31 and paste it here... mine reads as
"DMS3 " without the quotes
i want to find out what LINES of CODE does it add if you have HOMEBREW apps installed such as PGEN.ELF
what i'm hoping to happen is to EDIT this file, pointing to the PGEN.ELF to the hdd0:/APPS/PGEN.ELF *AND* hopefully it appears on the list of DMS HDD Explorer (DEV2)
i know i could do the CD install thing but my CD-ROm is BROKE so i'm gonna have to RELY on NETWORK install...
-> how to copy APPLIST.DAT -> HOST?
1. boot PS2Link on PS2
2. run PS2 In-Link on PC side
3. when connected, execute PS2MNU-K.ELF (with the same IPCONFIG.DAT you used to boot PS2Link) using In-Link.
4. on PS2MNU-K, press L1 to select hdd0:/__BOOT filesystem, press down to APPLIST.DAT then press START and select "host" then press TRIANGE
5. you will see a message below if its been copied and, the APPLIST.DAT should now be in the same FOLDER as where you started PS2MNU-K
kinda confusing but you will get it!
