Anybody know if "Chessmaster" works with HDL?

I just bought it used and tried to install it. I got to around 50% before it got a bunch of read errors and stopped. The disc is kind of scratched so I was hoping that was the problem.

I could rip it to a pc and transfer it to the PS2 from there. I just dont want to try it and have it not work cause i'm running low on HD space and would have to delete a bunch of stuff.

It's not on any of the compatibility lists I've seen.

So if anybody knows please mention either way.

why dont you try installing from cd/dvd-rom to ps2 hdd on the pc? you wouldnt have to delete anything. sounds like the most logical thing to do..
