    hi
sorry guy, I know how works FTPs but ftp through Ps2/pc, is annoying me hardly. I have 192.168.0.10/255.255.255.0 & gateway 192.168.0.1 on ps2 ok
waiting to get stuffed on port 21. then when I connect my pc using flashfxp (no passive mode) it does not find the server.
the ip adress of my pc is forced to 192.168.0.1 to be the gateway, but I can't ping 192.168.0.10 and cannot connect.
I then put myself on dhcp to see if my pc get an ip on the 192.xxx range, but it display 169. (bad network range)

the cable used is this one I use to connect my pc and my mobile pc. the ftp config is this one mentioned before, and my pc have been forced on the good range and on dhcp , both returning me error when trying to connect.

thanks million time to provide any ideas.
    best regards,
    GorZerK

There's no DHCP server to be found in your case so that's not going to do anything.

If the PS2 and PC are connected directly together, then you must use a crossover cable and not a patch cable.

    Hi
As i told I use a crossover cable as it is what I use for connecting 2 PCs at home.
I tryed that dhcp stuff, but I easily understood that it could not resolve.

I still don't understand why I can't ping the ps2 or connect to port 21
