Another Centuary's Episode ...it works but how with HDL ?

Hullo - in relation to the previous thread , THIS ONE , it was discussed on how to get games liek TENCHU and A.C.E working , via a hex edit or a patch.

I have Another centuary Episode sitting on my HD right now - tried a few times with different modes etc so the point is HOW do i edit this Hex or which patch etc should i apply ?

Extract the boot file (SLPS_xxx.xx) from iso and open it in your hex editor, search for CDVDMAN and replace its hex value (63 64 76 64 6D 61 6E) with zero's (00 00 00 00 00 00 00).
replace the patched boot file with the original one in iso. I use apache 2 for this.

EDIT:PPF patch attached.

Yeah, that should work because its another From Software game like Kuon, Tenchu and Yoshitsune Eiyuuden

Has anyone tried this yet? I couldn't get Another Century's Episode to work, but perhaps I didn't do it properly...

My suggestion is to use CDGens, that's better than CDVDGens...

Thank you Khafan; you have truly made my day I was going to try and do the Hex Editing again but thanks to your patch I can finally play this game. Thanks again.
