are thier any pc based ps2 apps that will let me put files in a partition ( besides execftp) I would like to transfer mp3 to my +mp3 partition that i have just increased to one gig in size i have alot of mp3s and would like to play them through my ps2 but adding from the cd not only freezes sometimes it will take forever

It can be done with DMS Dump tool =
allows you to copy the contents of a CD to a
specified filesystem on the HDD.
No need to do it with PC.

There is NO software available at this time for a PC, which can handle non-HDLoader partitions of a PS2 HDD.
I understand that you don't want it to be so, and honestly neither do I, but this is how it is. Asking the question repeatedly won't yield a different answer until someone produces new software with such capability.
For the present, the quickest way to move massive data into non-HDLoader partitions of the PS2 HDD is to burn CD-R disks and use some smart browser on the PS2 to copy entire folder trees from the CD to the HDD. I recommend LaunchELF v3.33 for this, but others can do the job too.

i didnt even know until now that you can play mp3s of your ps2 hdd. i will try it.
