I just installed ace combat 5 this morning, I didn't have time to really play, but I started a new game and it worked up to that point. I'll let you know when I have time to play it whether there were any problems or not.

AC5 worked fine for me until I reached mission 13-14 or so. Now it won't load it >_<

Anyone else having problems with Ace Combat 5 on hard disk? I haven't installed it yet but just curious if there are any other problems in advance. Thanks!

Works for me, but I only tried the first couple of missions.

Numerous people have now reported that it works fine unitl mission 20...then locks up. There is one unconfirmed report of someone able to play through the whole game, as long as it was loaded directly from disc to the drive via HDloader, without a PC used as an intermediary step.

I was playing fine until mission 17. Haven't got any further yet. I'll report back on compatibility later on.

Update: Yep, locks up right there while loading mission 20. This sucks. This game offered some of the most intense moments of my videogame history. Also, could someone point me to other people discussing AC5 and HDLoader compatibility?

I've finished the game and tried the free mission mode with no probs. Installed from my import (jpn) original without using the PC.
