Ability to control partition locations?
Ability to control partition locations? –
My apologies if this has been asked before, but I have a drive with around 1.5-2GBs of corrupted data at the beginning of the drive and I am wondering if any of the available programs around can allow me to partition a drive so that there is no data in those first 2GBs.I have had a play with winhiip which allows me to format the drive and control parition sizes but does not allow me the ability to control exactly where the partitions go.What I am doing now is making a 'net' partition at the beginning of the drive 2GBs in size which I assume by the partition order in winhiip that it is the first partition on the drive.I have not tested how well this works as I don't have a ps2 on hand at the moment, but if anyone knows of a program that already has this feature,I would like to know Also I am a linux user so if there are any tools that can handle the ps2 filesystem,I would like to know.
