I think I know the answer to this already, but I thought I would ask to confirm my suspicions. I have a 200GB drive that is formatted in 24Bit mode, can I change this to 48Bit mode or am I going to have to back up the 126GB that's on there format the drive in 48Bit mode and then restore the 126GB of ISOs?

I was unaware of the different formatting modes when I ripped my PS2 games to the HD and it was only when I had the drive opened in WinHiip the other day that I noticed it was reporting 1.3 GB free!!

You can use the 48Bit override option in winhiip to install games, but can cause problems later.

just do a full format in 48Bit mode. can't go wrong with it. just be sure to back your games up before you start.
