2 games black and white screen with un modded ps2 –
Hi there boy's and girlls
I'm Michael from the netherlands i have a original ps2 (pal)no modchip in it i have got to games fifa street and tekken 5 iso from a friend i have put it on my hd with winhiip when i want to play them with hd loader (cd) i get a black and white screen while playing the game
and the other gameson hd loader that i have put on by original dvd copy to hd loader are good and in color.
does any one else have that same problem and know how to fix it maybe replacing the scart cable with a scart cable from a modded ps2.
please help me
no it is most likely that you have a ntsc iso ( one from the states or japan) I would recoment searching for a program called NTSC to PAL or something alogn those lines...
dont it work if u just get a real scart cabel between the ps2 and the tv set?
But if it works with a program that cheeper..
If i remembered right that was the case for the ps1.
You can do 2 things:
1) get the NTSC2PAL program, and apply a patch to the ISOs. This will not work on every game, so to get colour on those you'd need:
2) an RGB cable. Televisions in America use the NTSC signal, while in Europe we use PAL signals. RGB is a different signal altogether, and works on almost every tv. Older tv's may have picture alignment problems, but a lot of games have an alignment function, so that won't be so bad. As for the RGB cable, they're pretty much available anywhere. Try a local Dixons or Free Record Shop, they probably have one for 10-20 euros.
