when it's connected to PS2? i don't see how that would make any difference. the PS2 recognizes the drive, BUT it only says i have 30gb of space to copy games too. I can copy and play games on it but only friggin 30gb worth

Is this how i do it?
http://www.lookatthemonkeys.com/html/ps2tut2.html
also, on my computer, even when i format the drive with WinHIIP it still shows as MAX 32gb. i have the 48-bit LBA patch on my comp, i entered the key in the reg. If i format it on my ps2 with the 48bit patch will it shows as 120gb on my comp when i try to copy iso's?

from my understand the 48bit LBA patch is only for drives bigger than 127gb(my drive?) so i wouldn't need it right?

I had the same problem with winhiip. I have a 120gig maxtor and it only saw 87gb until I put the setting on master and then it saw all of the drive.

yea, i found out what i did rofl > <
apprently this samsung drive has many jumper settings, it has a set of settings for just M, S, & CS ... then it has another set for M, S, & CS BUT this set is limited to 32gb, i didn't see that one. So i set the jumper setting according to CS on the first set thats unlimited, it's on the slave end of the IDE cable and now WinHIIP formated it as a 120gb drive w00t! I hope HDLoader reads it tho that will be the thing. Anyhow, i'm glad now that i bought a 120gb to replace my original 30gb, i was pissed that i replaced my 30 with a nother 30gb almost rofl! thanks for the help
