Not true. Some games that will not run properly after being installed with HDLoader, will still not run properly with a PC install. I tried installing Mad Maestro (US) with both methods, and tested all 8 compatibility combinations both times, and no luck! Black screen of death every single time. But I still haven't given up on this one. I'll try something else.

However, with a PC install (with WinHIIP), I succesfully installed Contra Shattered Soldier (US), and also two japanese games, Dance Summit 2001 and Puyopuyo Fever. These would not install normally with HDLoader. So do not rule out the power of installing games through PC apps. (not to mention that it's way faster, too).
