    ok, im pretty noob with these hdd things... so here is a list what i think i need to play "backup" copies of games:
    -PS2
    -Network Adapter
    -Ide Hdd
    -Modchip?
    -Hdloader (the newest version)
    -something else?

    You just need.
    -PS2
    -Network Adapter
    -IDE HDD
    -HDLoader (either the retail version or the Memory Card Exploit version)

    You can do it through a memory card exploit. If you use the search feature you will find all the answers to your questions. These questions have been asked a million times before.

    If it is a back up copy then just load it onto your hard drive useing your PC and WinHiip.
