well i got the cdrom from its case and intalled it in the pc. in the case there is the power cable and the IDE cable. the case connects to the pc with the parallel port.
umm.. what cd-rom from where?
i see he had an external cdrom too out the cdrom now has an enclosure of hte cd romm wiht a ide and power cable
i got a external cdrom. then i took the the cdrom and put it in the pc. in the case there is a power supply and IDE cable. all that then could be connected to the parallel port on the motherboard.
Are you asking if you can plug in a secondary ROM drive into the IDE and use that? Unless you're a PS2 homebrew developer who could code drivers to make that drive recognizable to the PS2, no....
...but I could be wrong..
