i patched the elf for ntsc so you can use it on ntsc ps2
I ask myself if someday realFMS will gift us with a new release with digitizepad option(analog sticks acting in place of digital ones)... Or at least share the source code "as is" here... Maybe this suffices to other MSX coders/enthusiasts continue with the development...
After much trial and error, I've managed to patch the ps2fmsx .elf file for use on NTSC equipment by adding a PAL/NTSC selector. I'm posting the patched .elf here for anyone who might be interested.
To use this patched .elf, download realFMS's ps2fmsx_06b.zip at the link in the post above and extract it. Then, replace ps2fmsx.elf with this patched "ps2fmsxNTSC.elf" in the ps2fmsx_06b folder. Launch ps2fmsxNTSC.elf, press the circle button for NTSC (or square button for PAL) and you're in business. Hope this is useful.![]()
That's great. How's the emulation speed?![]()
Great emulator! Waiting for NTSC support,
The link at the start of the thread takes you to a FBI warning about a site that is taken down.
some1 might want to fix that
I know this is an old thread and there are ways to get the emu here

Hi,
Thanks for your warning.
After some research I found an updated link, and I fixed the first thread post myself.
Why I did this? Because I love MSX platform (it was my second computer) and I haven't an idea where realFMS is.
It would be great if, only if, he could share his sources "as is" with us (or some of us)... I miss a digitizepad feature on ps2fmsx.
BR,
