i have to admit i too have been neglecting this area.
lets not forget the missing and true version of metal gear 2. It was also the largest translation group created in its time.![]()
My cousin had a MSX.. it was a good computer "console" for its time![]()
Would that be the asian version of nintendo?
I used to play metal gear when dinosaur still exist but I didn't finished it caused it was in japanese..... The cartridge or whatever they call it is half the size of NES and I know there are chips in there.
I don't if that's MSX..

msx was a pretty cool computer back in the 80's and early 90's.
I remember myself spending whole days playing games like space manbow, ys, nemesis (a.k.a. gradius), metal gear and sd snatcher (one of the coolest games hideo kojima ever made) trying to figure out all those japanese texts =)
Since we're talking about MSX (and this is a ps2 forum). What about emulators. Ifound a very goos SNES emu for ps2. But MSX is sadley lacking. Anyone that knows if there is a good MSX emu for the ps2 out there. I just love to play those games again in front of my pc instead of my pc.
