Here is yet another revision, with the following changes:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Rev.4 =>
Added pad Triangle reponse like 'Return' and 'BROWSE' entries
(Use it to exit from ROM folders or switch between MC/CDROM)
Moved 'Return' entry from end of ROM list to its start instead
Improved fast scroll (D-pad Left/Right now repeats faster)
Fixed a bug that caused duplicate ROM entries for CD listings
Fixed a bug that caused overly long ROM listings to be trashed
-----------------------------------------------------------
Best regards: dlanor

Reason: updating
Personally I'm looking forward to better sound before anything else. Doesn't really interest to save my game when the sounds crappy. But I still gotta give you credit for what you've done. Far beyond my skill level.

Yea I agree the sound is terrible and it's the only reason why I don't use this emulator. NES just isn't the same without the sound. Although, I'm not going to ask for dlanor to improve it, since I don't think it's something that's easily fixed. Although, if he or someone else did fix it, it would be near perfect for me as far as core emulation goes.
OK, i test some games on PGen 1.2.5 and the save slate is about 30 kb each and it's save into the HD.
That information is irrevelant. A savestate file must include all info on the realtime state of all emulated processors and other emulated hardware, so that the emulated machine can be restarted in exactly the same state as when the savestate file was made.
This means that the savestate format must be adapted to the specific hardware that is emulated, and also to the methods of emulation. So savestates for any NES emulator are not at all related to those of non-NES emulators, and they are also not related to the normal NES save files.
In case you don't realize the difference:
Normal save files represent the 'battery RAM' of the real NES system, to which you could save game progress in many games, such as Final Fantasy etc. The normal save files of InfoNES are just an exact copy of that data.
Savestate files represent something that never existed on the real NES, by allowing you to save the precise state of the emulation at any moment, even in games that don't support any saves at all. Loading such a savestate later will restart the emulation in exactly the state it was when that save was made. (Very useful for retries of RPG boss battles... )
U know what is would be wonderfull.... That u combine your hard works with the the InfoNES-HD from (Kalakaze)to make it works like PGen.
Combining these revisions is not practical, but I do plan to add HDD support eventually (as well as USB_mass etc).
