InfoGb starts up and runs great. However, I cannot get InfoNES to get past the hdd startup process. Tried packed and unpacked. It just hangs once the "yellow light" turns on. Anyone else experiance this?

Nevermind, "figured" it out. It is an issue using Key Launcher. Will not load unpacked period, but will load packed, but will not get past the hdd startup. Using Launchelf or PS2mnu-k works fine. I was just being impatient when trying LE or PS2mnu-k. Thanks. Let alone the fact that KL isnt 48bit, so maybe that has something to do with it not loading the hdd correclty.
ok so i load with launchelf and still nothing
From my experience it's an issue with the irx embedded in the elf that should be used and the one loaded before that by the loader (typicall case when the IOP is not resetted at startup). For example with ps2dev9.irx, if you have ps2link loading it before you load it in your elf, the one in the elf will not be taken in account, and even if your irx is wrong, hdd will work since the one taken in account is the one from ps2link, and not the one from your elf.
Boot your elf straight from the cd (or full reset the IOP), and it would hang (assuming that the irx is wrong, for the example).
well, at least this is what I've observed, don't quote me on it.
since my last post in this thread, I have been using the newest version out by k.k., but still have the loading issue for some reason. Loading through LE still works it okay, just slowly. Tried every no-mod way of booting it up, same results.
about how long did it take for it to load the hdd bnecaue for me it sits thier for houirs do i have to have roms on the hdd for it to load and where to put them if i do
If it's taking literally hours, then it aint workin for ya. Try loading it through Launchelf, in an HDD partition. Atleast that's the only location I have any success from
Well, I'll also add that the HDD version of PS2infoNES works perfectly running thru PS2MENU 2.6.
