I was reading the read me but I don't get it. It really doesn't explain anything. Couple of questions:

    1. Does this work on an unmoddified ps2 with HD and exploit?

    2. Also can thr roms be on a cd or do they need to be on HD?

If the is yes for question 1, can someone briefly explain what I need to do to get it to work?

    Thanks.

The new version of Infones(with HD support) will work with the mem card exploit. The readme does not make very much sense but I tried it out and it made perfect sense after that.

It has VERY little game support so I really dont suggest using it yet. Hopefully the creator keeps workking on it. It has alot of potential.

O and for your firsy question yes mine is on my HD, and no the the roms do not need to be on a cd they will work off the HD. You just need to tell it where you initially want to save your files to(this can either be on a mem card or you HD) but read my above post. You wont get alot of it.

most of the games that i've tested worked. mario bros. 1,2,3. metroid, bubble bobble, castlvania1, wario's woods. and a final fantasy or 2. there were a few others, but i only loaded games that i knew i'd play. having the sound off, with music from somewhere else is the best way to go. sndfx were less than tollerable, BUT it works.

Yes the reason I want to try it is for Mario 1,2,3 and maybe pacman and galaga.

But I still haven't got it to work. Could someone point me to a link or something. I tried putting the elf in my HD and it didn't work. How do I do it? Or does it run only from the MC?

As far as roms how do I load them in the HD. Do I use Winhipp or something. Or do I have to FTP them..... I tried making a partition one time with PS2OS with no luck. It there a noob guide on making partitions? sorry I haven't got any emu's to work so I have no idea where to start.

all of the infoGB and infoNES stuff i have runs from my hdd. i used my USB stick to put them in folders on the hdd. i used DMS format to make seperate partitions for GB and NES (128MB because i dont plan to put a lot on it). restart and use launch elf to copy from usb stick to designated folders on the hdd. someone somewhere mentioned there was a \sys-conf\ folder that needs to be on the MC. so make one if you dont already have it. i dont think you can use winhiip to put roms in the folders. i dont know about ftp because pc and ps2 are in 2 different rooms and i just didnt feel like hooking up ps2 to pc.

okay I am in the same boat...i don't want to ftp stuff if it can be avoided. I have a max drive usb stick. I guess it will work. So from what I uderstand I need to make a partition first right? I guess ps2os does it so I need to figure it out. Then I can transfer the elf file and roms to the new partition using the usb stick. Then I can run it from launch elf?

More or less is that right? I guess my first step is to figure out how to do partitions.
