OK here is a really fast translation :

    1. create a partition with the tool you want (they use ps2os but imo go with dms tool...). Named "+Video" (only Video on dms tool should work).

    2. transfert... you can do it with CD (imo go with launchelf and just copy and past... Or with host (with uLaunch Elf .... best bet) .... or simply by ftp with exFtp... or by thumb drive... (launch elf)

    3. launch sms gui (lastest version...)... but i think you should not use +video as a partition.. .the gui use +Avi I think...

anyway its kinda a bunch of other tuts you can find here.. like how to luanch app... how to tranfert file... how to create a partition... etc....

    What you'll need:
    PS2OS
    PS2CLIENT
    PS2LINK

First of all we'll create our partition, for that we'll have to use PS2OS, yes not many people know that PS2OS can create partitions.
To exexute PS2OS, it is recommended to launch it from PS2CLIENT.
For those that don't know what this software does, it is a tool which is used to launch a file through a network.
For the file to get to its destination, we'd have to launch PS2LINK from the PlayStation 2 side.
Once PS2LINK has been launched, PS2OS is next, type the following command under DOS:

    ps2client -h 192.168.0.10 execee host:PS2OS.ELF

Two tips on this subject, the first is that if you want to run PS2OS by a single click, copy the command line, paste it in a new text and save it then rename it PS2OS.bat.
The second tip is the console's IP address, if you modified PS2LINK, don't forget to change the console's IP address in the command line.
Voila! If you managed to launch PS2OS, that was the hardest part you did.
We shall now create a partition.
To do so, choose PS2OS Tools --> File Manager.
Once in the menu, press R1 and choose PFS0:|HARDWARE DISK|
From there, you will have a list of the partitions on your hard disk, we'll create the partition by pressing the Square button. Name it whatever you like but don't forget to put a "+" in front of the name.
I'll explain why it is necessary to put a "+" in front of the partition's name.
In reality there are two kinds of partitions, one that's more of a file, and the other, a REAL partition, therefore when one puts a "+", its becomes a file located in the root of the hard disk.
Back to the subject, I named my partition "+Video".
After naming the partition, it is necessary to choose the size of the partition, I put the maximum, 2048 MB, which represents 2 Go.

    Now for the transfer.
There're two means of doing this, either by CD or by Network

    Transfers by CD.
All you need to do is insert your CD (of course you need a modchip that handles that)
    (NEO 2.2 works)
Hit the R1 button, head to PFS0:|HARDWARE DISK|, then enter the partition that you created, in my case "Video", and position yourself on the two dots "..", once positioned, press triangle.
Then press R1, and go to CDFS:|CD DVD|
Once there, choose the video to transfer, by pressing the triangle button.

    Transfers by network.
Press R1, and go to PFS0:|HARDWARE DISK|, then enter the partition that you created, in my case "Video", and position yourself on the two dots "..", once positioned, press triangle.
Then press R1, and go to HOST:|PS2LINK| (WARNING, if you closed the PS2CLIENT window, the transfer won't work)
Once there, choose the video to transfer, by pressing the triangle button.

And voila! you can now reboot your console and launch SMS.

PS. My french is a little rusty, hope this helps
