Seriously we just need to take a look on Neme's embed source code and make an tool to pack/unpack the payload of SONY's dvdplayer elf.

I can then solve the MG signing problem easily
the DVD driver will boot ALREADY patched and will boot by just inserting tha DVD video disc.

I'll turn my back to this thread, do it for myself and stay quiet.

You can mess around as much you want with things like Action Replay, Gameshark/DVD Region X and keep using an annoying program to patch the DVD player while I hack SONY's DVD player permanently to just put the disc and have it play.


And I'll keep it for myself.

Now some technical info as an goodbye:

KELF file has:

KELF header,Bittable, ELF unpacker and PAYLOAD.

FMCB injects an trojan code on the PAYLOAD then patches everything up to match the original CRC.

I want to edit the payload (for example put RGB/YCBPR fix and region free disc loading) on the payload data (actual DVD player program) then repack and resign the kelf file so it boots correctly and already modified.


But people don't seem to understand that WE NO LONGER NEEED TO HACK THINGS UP.

Now tell something I haven't known since 2007
I can control any runnable BIOS ELF from Codebreaker and do whatever I like, I don't even need FMCB anymore, I'm not pissing about with the dvdplayer when I can just patch bios dvdelf whilst it's unpacked in memory.
Why take up the extra storage on a memory card

I fully understand your irritation, but are you really going to let the words of one man who insulted you push you into refusing to share an innovation with the entire scene which took no part in that insult ?

If you do, then you have let his words limit your contribution to the scene...
Do you really want to grant him such power over you ?

In your place I'd rather react by ignoring him here in this thread (due to the insult), but would then proceed with the project and its public posting regardless of any personal conflicts. You're free to do as you please, of course, but I hope you will reconsider the 'keep it to myself' part.

No. That is not good, and it is not permitted.
You are raising a flame-war here, and that is against site rules.

I have no problem with your coding methods or the tools you prefer (though I don't).
But I do have a problem with your conduct in this thread, and you will cool it down now.
(Or else we will have a mutual problem, which I will deal with through moderation.)
