I didn;t know where to post so i posted here.
Sms sees my usb key of 1gb and can play movies.
But when i plug my usb hdd nothing.
It has the usb mass symbol but it can not see the hdd.

Make sure your HDD is formated in FAT32. NTSC is not supported.

Its not that NTSC isn't supported, the PS2 can only read FAT/FAT32 for USB drives.
I don't think that makes any difference ("isn't supported" vs. "can't read").
But my PS2 will only read FAT32 not FAT!
