Is it possible to play vcd on a ps2?

I tried a while back like 2 years ago and when using nero ps2 it wouldn't read the vcd. If it can be done can someone explain what mode or what software to use I have nero6 atm. Thanks ~Mic

It won't play vcd, period.

there is supposed to be a vcd player for the ps2, but what it actually does is convert the vcd into .pss format (ps2 movie format), and shows you how to burn the disc so it runs like a ps2 game, only playing the movie though!!!

Wait, as there is one being made as we speak, keep checking this forum, a certain team of people are making an m-peg 1-2 player.
