    Hi all

I tried to apply the tip told in this link
    sms.psx-scene.com/eng/faqcdvd.htm
but it doesn't work for me.

    My PS2 is v13 (SCPH-70004) and I use Magic Keys + Swap Magic 3.6

Can you give me any solution?

    I tried the following:
    * boot from Swap Magic CD
    * Insert a CD-R which contains SMS.elf and launch it.
    * From the SMS, explore the DVD-R with the folder structure of a DVD-Video and the avi files I want to play. The DVD doesn´t get read, I think its because I boot from the Swap Magic CD, not the DVD

    Any solution?

I believe that's correct. With SwapMagic, the PS2 doesn't know the disc has been changed, so it still expects the disc type (CD or DVD) that it was booted from. I've been working with this issue myself.

    Solutions:

    1. Put SMS on the DVD-R so you can boot with the SwapMagic DVD. This is the ideal solution, but is more difficult to implement.

    2. Put SMS on a memory card or USB flash drive and use the SwapMagic DVD to run it automatically at boot. This is what I'm doing at present (MC0) and it works well - I'm able to access data on a DVD-R without resorting to the DVD-Video trick.

    Hope that helps!

After boot from "DVD Swap Magic",

    I don´t have Memory Card
Do i copy boot. lf and sms.elf into de USB flash drive?
How do I launch this elf´s?

    Thanks in advance

You NEED to authenticate a DVD ORIGINAL, BEFORE (or while, I'll get to that) you load your player, or you need to build a PS2 DVD MASTERDISC, that loads your player, with your divxx on it, with the cd-dvd-gen, and launch it with your dvd swap magic disc (Delta-9's right about this). If that's beyond you, I'd DVD double-swap from ulaunchelf, authenticate a dvd original, and swap in the dvd-r with your divxx (however you load a dvd-r, now) then run your player from ulaunchelf.
I havent done this in years, but I HAVE DONE IT, it is absolutely possible, and this will allow you to play mp3's from a dvd, too, if you want to.

I tried the solution of booting with the USB key:
    - SWAPMAGIC folder on the root of the USB FAT partition
    - SMS.ELF renamed as SWAPMAGIC.ELF on the SWAPMAGIC folder.

PsTwo hangs up (freezes) when I boot from the "DVD Swap Magic 3.6"

    Did you know this problem?
    Is there any solution?

If I choose the option of make a DVD-R with the SMS.ELF,
do I only need to include a system.cnf that points to the SMS.ELF?

    Tanks in advance

You can rename SMS.ELF to SMBOOT0.ELF, and in Swap Magic menu press up+L1. For me this works; Renaming ELF to SWAPMAGIC.ELF doesn't boot for me too...
