I've got 2 250Gb USB HDDs on my computer that I stream data from. Have about 15 different shows and several seasons of some of them. maybe a couple dozen movies and oer 150 CDs as mp3 on them. Have about 300GB free still.

watching avi /divx through sms using usb pen drive is cool. i have my collection of avi/divx in PC. everytime i want to watch one of them i just copy it to my usb pen drive. it's easy and convenient. streaming from PC is fine but my TV is far from the computer.

yeah. sms rocks. pity i still have no USB pendrive. pretty lame, as they are now about $25 for a 1gb one. maybe for xmas.

for converting TV shows to DVD video (for when you want to play it in a regular dvd player or on your PS2) i use WinAVI. seems to work ok, and can get 8 episodes of stargate onto one dvd5.

If you can convert the file to MPEG 1 or 2 then something like Action Replay or Xploder can read the files off USB stick.

I have a modchip but dvix won't play from dvd :(. I installed sms 1.9v. and it plays mp3 files and divx from normal cd but when i put dvix on dvd it said:
illegal discs
anyone now what is the problem. thanks
