any Divx/mpeg player for the PS2? –

sorry, i dont post or hang out much around here i just have a modded ps2 and I'm wondering if this is possible so if i sound dumb u can flame me :-)
Is there anything that would be able to play Divx file, and/or mpeg files on the ps2? I have a ton of Divx/mpeg files on my computer that are taking up TONS of space and i'd love to burn to DVD's and be able to play them on my ps2.. and making DVD movie discs sucks because i can only put like 2 hours of movies on a single DVD.. Is this at all possible?
Either just a stand-alone cd that would allow you to play dvds filled with files or something that you'd have to burn to each dvd that had movie files on them
Even something that would play files from the internal HD would probably work..
Is the only thing out there that software that will allow you to stream from your PC?
any help would be great
thanks

I've been wondering about that Gameshark Media Player thing .. does it play Xvids and such properly over the network?

Dont forget about the Action Replays media player.. It also plays Divx formated movies.. And just a plus it also supports USB mass storage devices like a thumb drive and beleave it or not it also plays divx movies off of my 250 Gig External maxtor drive (while hooked up to the USB cable of course)...

Wow, what version of Action Replay is it that has that media player? Does it have the same problems as the Reality Player in that newer Xvids stutter like crazy?
