    That part of it, that me lead to this post... If they come to me and tell me, that there some problems with the shipping blabla i can follow the progress...
    Oh how you are so wrong about getting information about a package. With UPS, FedEx and DHL, yes you can. What you pay is what you get so you're obviously paying more for better service. But with post office you can not get detailed tracking info. It does not have realtime tracking. That is why its not as detailed as the other carriers. USPS has the worst tracking system of all couriers. Why you think they are losing money every year and on the verge of closing down?

    I work at the post office and have tried to track packages myself and whatever you see on your home computer is the SAME we see on our end. If we can't even locate a package that is domestic, what makes you think we can track international?

    Essentially, it is out of the sellers hands. They are not the one delivering it. They are not hand delivering it to you in person. Its in the hands of the courier.

    The sender of a package COULD initiate a package search... I can't... The package what I'm talking about is 18$ more priced for EMS !"!5 B-DAYS!"! shipping... So calm down... The only info I can get is the following:

    China EMS Track: 2010-12-07 00:16:00 GUANGZHOU Despatch from Sorting Center

    Austrian EMS Post Track: Sendung ins Ausland weitergeleitet CNCAND 07.12.2010 00:16:00 CN

    There you can read Package is send to overseas... So wtf?

    The sender could inform themself whats wrong... This package is on the way home... Tracking is there but not more...

    And as I told you... As sender of the package you have more posibilities if the package has left the building... Also refunds for the sender are posible... Therefore I have chosen the EMS...

    In the last 3 month I ordered from 10+ different Seller different Articles (also USB Dongles and so on)... All of them I have got... All different (but sometimes the same) shipping method... with and without EMS... With DHL, UPS,.... And 2 of all my different orders have the same Problem... The won't arrive...

    The second one I contacted the service... The do something... They send me a new one and try to get back the other one... (200$)

    What does this guys from lightake? Nothing... Just the info they can't do anything... There are enough posibilities what they can do... But they don't...

    Thats a package of 100$... And the price with the bad service is the worst order I have in china...

    Again, whether its first class, airmail or EMS, locating a package is impossible. They did not ship with UPS, FedEx or DHL. The information you see is the same that will show up in the couriers database. Going to the post office or even doing a package search, the courier will just tell them or you to wait and if it does not show up, file a lost package (if insurance is purchased).

    What is worse is once it leaves the country, its even harder to find a package especially if there are millions of packages at the sorting facility.

    So LighTake requesting a package search is a moot point. That was the purpose of my reply before

    How they are handling the situation is a different story. Different businesses handle things different. Some will immediately send out a replacement while others stick by their shipping and are sure that the product will arrive (regardless of timeframe). Obviously, this hurts their reputation and customer service.

    If you or anyone in general don't like how they are handling the situation, file a complaint with your credit card company or PayPal (even reading some complaints that PayPal can't do much). LighTake does provide tracking but I don't know how PayPal handles international order disputes.

    To answer this, I have to wait till 12th of january... There I will get the answer from paypal...

    But till now no reaction of lightake... Nothing... No wait for your package nor an other thing... Since 17.12.2010 NOTHING... Great ha?

    The request for a package search isn't the only thing they can do...

    But they decided to do nothing...

    all you lightake costumers don't feel bad deal extreme isn't worth a ish either i sent them a email before i purchased and they said as there site says 7 to gather an ship. regular shipping is a max 21 days usually 10-14 days so that seems like 28 days to me i asked first because i wanted to make sure it got here before my Christmas for my son. well its now been 35 days an I'm still waiting. i sent them another wtf email and there response was i can check the tracking with the hong Kong post. it still says waiting to depart to united states of America.

    Dear customers ,
    The delivery time really took too long during the Christmas period , we'll find a new way to figure this issue out next year , maybe start a warehouse in the US ?

    We are very sorry about this issue , but you should be notifyed not only Lightake has this issue , all Hong Kong / China based online shopping offering free shipping are facing the same problem , just because thousands orders are placed in the same time for Christmas gifts , Which caused the slowdowns from the postal office .

    And we may get back to Hong Kong post after Jan 15th if it gets back normal , then the delivery time would get normal too .

    Sorry for the inconvenience again .

    WTH? I haven't chosen the free shipping... I paid more (18$) for the shipping... I don't care that much about the shipping costs more about the stock... The order I placed was just, because you have (until there) a good reputation and average score AND you have all of the items I want on stock (your service told me that)... And now? 18$ for nothing, no act from your side... nothing... Tell me what you would like to do? Or should paypal decide what get happen? I'm still waiting for an offer of your side or any REAL act from you... Not only crying around about christmas...

    Make me an offer which we can discuss and I'm ready to forget it... (NO I WON'T HAVE A REFUND)...

    Just for the notes... Meanwhile I ordered there the price for the same items got reduced twice... thats also a bad joke right here...

    I now have called (the 4th time) my local post office... now they told me, that the package was dispatched in china @ 7.12.2010 and they don't know why it's not arrived till now... The only thing I can do, is to tell the Seller to request a research... interesting... ha? They can't do anything?!?... It seems the package is lost and they won't do anything... more than a month in nirvana... also 100$ in nirvana... brilliant... isn't it?
