Just what is the BOR engine? I know it's a game engine that you can use to play the bor.pak but will some explain where the bor engine came from originally?

I read my favorite SNES translator Neill Corlett had a part in it's creation originally but is it a hack of a real game engine or is it an original engine with tons of pak files to check out that are games that run on this engine.

Can someone just explain it better than that if I am on the right track cuz I really don't know what to look for to find a pak file for this port by pixel. Is there anything illegal in the pak files? Is there a place to get them from and know what I am getting? Please tell me as I cannot find the answer I am looking for.

Great job pixel....I'm sure I am gonna like it once I get to try it

I only want SNES-Station to be updated for hi-res mode to play Neill Corletts Seiken Densetsu 3 translation on PS2

Hey dude.. I will explain with a few words..
BOR Engine is originally created by Senile Team.. Neil Corliett is the official porter of this engine to DC and PS2. And Pixel used the source code to make his own port with homebrew code and added memorycard support for saving settings.
And BOR Engine is original.. nothing ripped from anything..
But the game itself is made using ripped sprites from SNK's"King of Fighter Series" and some Sega's Streets of Rage sprites. That's why BOR.PAK isnt legal because it contains copyright material (aka ripped sprites). But I dont see anything worng with it because there's a engine like BOR (its called MUGEN.. but its a conventional fighting engine like Street Fighter or KOF) that every one rips sprites from comercial games and the developers don't care about it.. the only problem is if someone takes profit with it...

(backing to BOR...) With this engine you can make your own Beat'em up game.. just use creativity, sprites, sound and good luck
But there is tons of mods for bor engine that you will find at www.gamikaze.org and tutorials

I don't know if I answered your doubts well.. but I tried :P
Check gamikaze forums and you won't miss any info!
