Sorry, but if you need support on burning backup illegal copy of games, this is the wrong place.
I need help burning a CD-R with emulator on it...I have some neocd games, but no Neo CD console to play them on. I was wondering how to make a emulator CD.
I believe what he meant to say was that he had legit NeoCD games at home and that he wished to make a genuine backup of them. However, due to not having a NeoCD console, he desires to play them on the PS2. There's nothing illegal in that, is there? Unless of course, he's in the UK ;pOriginally Posted by evilo
Ok, sorry, I thought you wanted somebody to explain you how to copy games (and I want this forum to be clear)!
So burning the emulator is actually very easy,
once you have all necessary files (see readme), burn them all on a cd using the following configuration : mode1, iso9660 (ISO Level 1) - no multisession.
Additionally, you could also copy game files to the root as this way you won't need to swap CD (note that you will also only be able to play with one game, and that you won't have audio track, but as it's not supported for the moment....)
Now, be sure that you anyway need a way to boot the emulator (modchip, eXploit, etc...) Anyway, as the current version is still an alpha one, the emulator is not finalized, stable and lots of games have still some severe issue, so I don't encourage you to already burn a CD, but rather try it by sending the elf from your PC (if you have such a possibility).
hope this is clear !
Evilo.
Using execftp together with ps2menu-k (or similar programs) to transfer the emulator to MC is also a good way to run the non-dev build. You don't have to burn a new cd each time a new version of the emulator is released. Assuming you have a network adapter...
