Try it.
Use PS2CDGen to create a CD iso. Dont forget to create the correct system.cnf for ur .elf.
BOOT2 = cdrom0:\NEOCD.ELF;1
VER = 0.6
VMODE = PAL
This is what i found on archive with the emu. What do you think will work?
I dont know exactly what VER is all about but all my system.cnf is 1.00
Dont forget to hit enter after the last line.
Also be sure to put NEOCD.ELF (case sensitive) after the system.cnf is ps2cdgen.
Well check out this thing: i've managed to make a image with aero fighter 2, but when i've tried with KOF94 when i drag and dorp the files it only puts the iso and first track the rest give me a error : the file already exist and the file ends in ..._trac.mp3, and any track is the same but in windows it shows track5, track 10 etc. Any ideea?
The order you mentioned to put the elf after the cnf is for unmoded consoles or for everybody ?
EDIT i've uploaded the aero fighter 2 image on hdd with winhiip and when i try to run it with HDloader it freezes. I've tryed different modes and nothing. I'm using a patchet version of HDLoader 0.7c.
How did a make the image:
in ps2gen i change the volume label in NEOCD, i've put the system.cnf, neocd.elf, then NEOCD.BIN and neocdps2.txt. Then the files from the aero fighter game, i mean the iso and all the tracks, i saved under the *.iso and uploaded to hdd. What is Wrong?

First of all, is Neo CD an emu for Rom files, if so then read this, if not, i dont know what to say.
What is neocd.bin...
i think u need those files.
system.cnf
neocd.elf
dummy (for CD-R)
folder (with the roms u want)
no no no ... i've read this tutorial and i want to run neocd (wich is an emu for neo geo cd for ps2) from hdd. Neo cd bin is the bios wich is needed. i've followed every step of the tutorial and i didn't make it altough i have a cipped ps2. And the roms will not work only images from neo geo cd will. Did you manage to run the emu and play something? Many thanks.
Humm, dont really know about neocd emu... better ask in the thread of the tuto.
Sorry...
@catallin: To play neogeo cd games off HDD, it is required to combine neocd.elf + system.cnf + bios + game files at the root of the image.
Unfortunately, this method is not very useful as the emu won't read the cdda tracks from the hdd, so no music will be played
The best (and only) way to enjoy full neogeo cd emulation is to play your neogeo cd games from cd.
And as i see in your signature, you've got a matrix infinity, launchelf and all the good stuff, so the easiest way is really to put [neocd.elf + neocd bios] either on your memory card, usb or hdd, then insert your neocd game and launch neocd.elf

@boule: i really wanna play from the HDD even there is no sound. I dont wanna put cd's on my console because i have this thing that they do harm to the lens. Anyway tell me two things: do you really know how to run games from hdd, i mean did you play yourself neo geo cd from hdd and 2 ... i can make the games on dvd? it will be more convenient for me to play from dvd, if i can't manage to run from hdd. Many many thanks.
