    Hi everyone,

I got a little big prob with the neocd emulator, indeed I can't use it on my ps2.

I followed the general requirements that were explain in the "neocdps2.txt"
I create a folder neocd, I put it in:

    neocd.bin
    neocd.elf
    neocdps2.txt
    system.cnf
    install.pbt
    instlst.pbt
    remove.pbt
    run.pbt
    dummy

I burned them on cd and dvd (iso 9660, mode 1, no multisession) and nada
I try to burn them directly on the cd/dvd root and always nada
It doesn't lauch at all, and I got a ps2 modded with hdd.
    My ps2 reconized the cd/dvd as a ps2 disc but that's all.
    I checked the neocd.bin crc32 and it's ok.
I don't know what to do

So, please , if anyone know how to do a boot disc with this emulator that would be great.

    Thanks in advance

well maybe my readme is not so clear...
but you don't need to put them under a folder if you burn it, just put them directly at the root level :

    |-- CD root
    |
    |- neocd.bin (ngcd bios, not provided)
    |
    |- neocd.elf
    |
    |- neocdps2.txt
    |
    |- system.cnf

and burn it on a CD-R (not on a CD-RW, unless your ps2 can read them) as you've done (i'm not sure it'll work on a DVD btw). all the pbt files are only required if you have a CC modchip. And be sure also to have the last version (currently 0.5).

Concerning the bios, neocd now displays an error msg if not found or not correct, so it's not that. But when you say that it's not working, what do you have precisely ? black screen ?

then, what is your ps2 model ? modchip ?

Thanks a million man, now it works

I tested Breakers, it was slow enough and when I kicked my opponent, it freezed.

I also tested Fatal Fury and Magician Lord and they work fine, same with Metal Slug 2 and Samurai Shodown 3.

I got some games like GALAXY FIGHT, KARNOV'S REVENGE, NINJA MASTERS, RAGNAGARD, RALLY CHASE, SAVAGE REIGN, SUPER SIDEKICKS, TWINKLE STAR SPRITES, TOP PLAYERS GOLF, KING OF FIGHTERS 96 NG COLLECTION which are in Boule's list but I think he didn't had the time to test them and if I can help by testing those games I'll do it.

Vivement la prochaine version avec les pistes audio
